Why I keep this record

I write when a question stays with me long enough to demand more than a conversation. None of these essays are here to convince. Each one only wants to be held long enough to earn an honest answer.

Every question here returns to the same one: how to act responsibly without losing freedom or dignity, while the ground keeps shifting. This is where that search is kept, one question at a time, in the order they arrive.

    My Daughter's Question

    A child says: "I'm always nice to AI, so it won't be bad to me later." She wasn't missing a better interface. She was missing permission to be in the room.
